Transport methods
Our nearest Metro station is at Haymarket, which is around 300 metres away, use the entrance on Northumberland Street.

We’re lucky that we have some of the best transport connections in the city with lots of routes from the nearby bus interchanges.
Eldon Square bus station, around 500 metres away, is mainly served by Go North East.

Haymarket bus station, is also close at around 450 metres away and is mainly served by Go North East and Arriva North East link, offering lots of local routes to our surrounding areas and the Northumberland coast line.
Central Station’s also got a lot of bus stops for services starting and ending at the above stations.
Night buses
Go North East night buses are available on Saturday and Sunday mornings, serving Newcastle to Durham, look out for Angel N21.
The closest railway station is Central station at just over 0.5 miles away.

Look out for bike racks in local streets if pedal power’s your thing.
As we’re in the city centre, we are easy to get to by all major approach roads, including the A1.
If you’re driving, there are pay and display spots around locally that become free in the evening and NCP operate a number of car parks close by, spaces can be pre-booked too.
John Dobson Street is open until 11.29pm.

We do not have our own parking facilities, but there are five parking spaces for blue badge holders in College Street Car Park and a number of spaces a short distance away on John Dobson Street, close to the NCP Car Park.
Most parking meters in the local vicinity are free to blue badge holders..
Venue opening times
We’ll have opening times and curfew times if they’re out of the ordinary for seasoned gig-goers (7pm-11pm) on the event page of this website and on our social channels, too. All timings are subject to change, so check before you travel.
Age restrictions
It’s always best to check the age restrictions for each event in advance as they vary from show to show. These age restrictions will always be declared at your ticketing point of purchase.
- No under 8’s please, but feel free to contact us if you’re unsure.
- 8-13 years, you’ll need to attend with an adult (18+).
- Most shows are 14+, if you are 14 or over you will not need to be accompanied by an adult to attend
Always look for admission age policies and signs such as 14+, 16+, 18+ before you book and remember to carry proof of age if you need it.

We operate a ‘challenge 25’ policy across all of our bars for the purchase of alcohol. Please don’t be offended if you are asked for ID.
At some events, we have a Breathalyser Policy in place at the front doors. Anyone under 18 suspected of consuming alcohol may be asked to produce a breath sample on entry. We reserve the right to refuse entry if a positive breath test is provided or a test is refused when requested. If you are over 18, simply show our staff your ID to avoid the breath test.
