On record, Seb Lowe’s fusion of indie-rock, alt-folk and virtuous, literate lyricism is utterly compelling. On stage he goes harder, channelling the righteous anger of his lyrics like a man possessed, while violinist and vocalist Kate Couriel provides another engaging focal point, the pair anchored by drummer Joel Goodwin.
