1) INTRODUCTION
a) These terms govern your admission to and conduct at an event (“Event”) held in a venue (“Venue”) operated by Academy Music Group Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). By entering, or attempting to enter a Venue, you agree to be bound by these terms.
b) These terms incorporate, and should be read in accordance with:
-
the terms and conditions of the Event organiser (if not us) (“Organiser”) and the authorised ticket agent from whom you purchased your ticket (“Agent”), copies of which are available upon request from the Organiser and/or the Agent.
All of the above terms are collectively referred to as the “Terms and Conditions”.
2) VALID TICKET
For entry to an Event at one of our Venues you must produce:
a) a valid ticket; and
b) in some cases, valid photo ID matching the name displayed on your ticket.
3) SEARCHES
a) To ensure the safety of all customers, we may conduct security searches upon entry to and exit from a Venue as well as during the Event. This may include searches of clothing, bags and other items.
b) At some Events, metal detectors may be in operation. If you have a health condition and cannot pass through or otherwise use a metal detector, please alert our security staff.
c) We reserve the right to refuse entry if you refuse to be searched or to use the metal detector. No refund or compensation will be given if entry is refused.
4) PROHIBITED ITEMS AND BAG SIZE
a) You must not bring illegal or prohibited items into a Venue. Please check our List of Prohibited Items before arriving at a Venue. We shall be entitled to confiscate any such item(s) and any refusal to co-operate may result in refused entry into the Venue.
b) Please note that bags over A4 size and luggage are prohibited.
5) FOOD AND DRINK
No bottles, cans, alcohol or food can be brought into a Venue. Please contact us in advance if you have a medical need which requires you to bring food and/or a drink into a Venue.
6) ALCOHOL
If you appear to be under 25, please don’t be offended when we ask you to prove your age.
7) SMOKING AND VAPING
Smoking and vaping is not permitted anywhere inside our Venues. Offenders will be ejected without refund or compensation. A designated area is available outside for smoking. We reserve the right to withdraw this area at any time.
8) PERSONAL BELONGINGS
You are responsible for looking after your personal belongings whilst at a Venue. We will not accept liability for any property that is lost, stolen or damaged whilst in a Venue. Any items left in the cloakroom are left at your own risk.
9) NO READMISSION
No pass outs or readmissions will be issued except in limited circumstances and at our discretion.
10) EJECTIONS/REFUSALS
To ensure the safety of all customers, we reserve the right to refuse admission to, or to eject a person from a Venue without a refund or compensation. This may include, without limitation, if you:
a) breach these Terms and Conditions;
b) pose a risk to yourself and/or others;
c) fail to be searched;
d) breach of any of our licensing conditions (e.g. purchasing alcohol for minors);
e) affect the running of the Event or the enjoyment of other customers;
f) interfere with or damage our property or the property of the Organiser or of local residences and business (including public urination);
g) fail to comply with requests from a member of security or staff at a Venue;
h) harass or cause distress to staff or security at a Venue;
i) film or take photographs of a member of Venue staff or security in a manner likely to constitute harassment or cause distress;
j) throw any items or substances in the crowd, at others or at equipment;
k) smoke or vape within a Venue and not in the designated area; or
l) enter prohibited areas.
11) CONSENT TO FILMING
By entering the Venue you agree to your actual or simulated likeness being included for no fee within any film, photograph, audio and/or audio-visual recording to be exploited in any and all media for any purpose at any time throughout the world. This includes filming by the police or security staff which may be carried out for the security of customers or the prevention of crime. However, you may object to such use by specific request to privacy@academy-music-group.co.uk.
12) SOUND AND LIGHT EXPOSURE
By entering the Venue you acknowledge that:
a) you may be subject to loud noise. Prolonged exposure may cause damage to your hearing; and
b) stroboscopic lighting and/or other pyrotechnic effects may be used at the Event.
13) DISPUTES AND GOVERNING LAW
a) If any dispute arises out of the Terms and Conditions, we will attempt to settle it in accordance with the STAR Code of Practice and Dispute Resolution Procedure set out in clause 31 of our Ticketing Terms and Conditions. b) These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
