Doing it for the love of music, legendary band Fat Freddy's Drop are returning to the stage in 2026 to perform their ground-breaking debut album Based On A True Story.

The 51 dates across Australia, Aotearoa, Europe and UK will be Freddy’s first shows following the sudden death of founding band member Chris ‘MU’ Faiumu. The band is united in its decision to continue with this long-planned tour. 

Based On A True Story was independently released in 2005, an album of 10 fresh slices of future funk, with surprises, fakes & freaky sidesteps.
