Ahead of their latest UK tour, Sunset Sons' frontman Rory Williams shares memories of home and O2 Academy Bournemouth.

Sunset Sons have been enjoying a mammoth year, including the release of their debut album, Very Rarely Say Die, a string of electric festival performances and a sold-out tour back in April.

Now ready to hit the road again, frontman Rory Williams caught up with us in Bournemouth to talk touring, learning music and playing his hometown venue again.

On touring

"Every show is different, you never know what’s gonna happen, you don’t know if it’s gonna go smoothly. It might end up being the best show of your life, it might be the worst show your life."

On O2 Academy Bournemouth

"When we played here, this was one of my most excited gigs to be playing. I grew up here so I’ve got loads of friends and family and they came to the show so the reception was massive."
