Box office and ticketing service

Ticketmaster is our official booking partner, selling tickets for all Academy Music Group venues in the UK.

Our box office opening times at O2 Academy Edinburgh are from 7pm on show days only.

Opening times will be different on bank holidays, so do check.

Getting here

By bus

If you’re arriving from the South, the following bus stops are available nearby, numbers 4,34,35,44, N33 and 300.

From the north, bus numbers 3,25,30,33,38, N25, N28, N30, X27 and X 28.

By train

The nearest train station is Slateford, with routes from Edinburgh Waverley at approximately 11 minutes and Haymarket, four minutes.

Accessible facilities at Slateford station does not have step-free access to any plaform, but does have an induction loop, accessible facilities are detailed here

Parking and by car

We’re easy to get to by all major approach roads, including A70 (South) and A71 (North), Edinburgh City bypass and the M8 and M9 motorways.

There are limited options for on street parking in the surrounding area, so we recommend using public transport.

We do not have our own parking facilities however we do have a drop off point at the main entrance and our team will show you the way.  

Venue opening times

We’ll have opening times and curfew times if they’re out of the ordinary for live music events (7pm-11pm) on the event page of this website.
