Peerless Pirates

Peerless Pirates consists of four mates hailing from Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire and they’ve been around since 2010, performing gigs around Oxford and London. They’ve distilled a sound that is often described as ‘rum-soaked fun’ which is mostly a blend of 80s indie, rockabilly, surf-rock and spaghetti western soundtracks. The band played Glastonbury in 2013 and has supported the likes of Big Country. The Pirates just released their debut album and hope to continue their meteoric rise.

The Autumn Saints are an Anglo-American trio based in Oxford, UK. Although there is no mistaking that the band’s sound has been influenced by British music – audible in the melodic guitar lines and an atmospheric depth that British indie groups have always done well. Overall, however, there is one other thing Autumn Saints bring to the table and that’s southern storytelling and the soulful, weighty music history of North Carolina, where lead singer Britt Strickland is from.
